As I am walking ahead in this journey of life, sometimes I pause just a little, turn around and observe the course of actions that have happened. We all do this perhaps, more as we grow older. Thinking of if things could be different, or if they would be what would they be like.
Silly days of school and friends you thought back then would be friends for life, but now you dont know where they are and what they do.
Your definition of career, when you first understood what career meant and how it shaped into something totally different
Those good old times when your heart would flutter at slightest smile.
Why does life become serious as we grow? Why do we not feel the excitement in stupidest of things? What is it that we need to hold on to, to keep that child alive in us?

Nice post :-)
Is it the weather that reminds you of the past.
I guess you are local to Seattle.
Maybe we can catch up for a cup of chai and I can introduce you to my dog who brings a shower of happiness and unconditional love at all seasons of the year:-)
Best,
Suma.
Lovely musings! Just a thought: twenty years from now, we're bound to look back and think that even though life used to be so busy, it also used to be so much livelier and better back then. :-)
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Suma:Yep Seatelite and we should catch up for a cup of chai. Would love to meet the puppy, that's what I called my dog "the puppy" for never ever aging :)
Hema P.:Glad you liked reading my scribbling. Hope you visit again. And I trust each time I stop to look back, I would think well that was so much better and then guess you turn that one road and then say to yourself- it wasn't that bad after all eh? That's my grandpa in talking in his 80's. Shudders! Let me hold on to a little more of today.
